A Reflective Snapshot

 

Inspired by the ever-popular photo booth, I decided to create a film strip complete with props and a spotlight to highlight my nursing theory.

 

I was inspired by Leininger’s Culture Care: Diversity and Universality Theory. I believe that nurses must have a variety of tools or props in order to provide culturally competent care. It is up to the nurse’s discretion to choose the props that will be most helpful in each unique cultural setting.
